Is my photo uploaded to a server?

Yes — background removal needs a GPU model, so the photo is sent to the bgclear.ai backend, processed, and the result returned. The original is not retained beyond what's needed to generate variants.

How big can the photo be?

Up to 15 MB. For best results use a photo where the subject is clearly visible against the background.

What's the difference between HD and Super HD?

HD caps the longest edge at 2048px (great for web and social). Super HD goes up to 4096px (print-ready). Original keeps the input resolution.

Can I use it for product photos?
