Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using OneClickUse (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

2. The Service

OneClickUse provides a collection of free utilities that run entirely in your web browser. We don't have user accounts, file storage, or server-side processing of your data. See the Privacy Policy.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to violate any law or third-party right.
• Attempt to circumvent password protection, DRM, or security on files you do not own or have authorization to modify (e.g., unlocking PDFs you do not have legal access to).
• Reverse-engineer or scrape the site for the purpose of building a competing service.
• Attempt to attack, overload, or impair the Service.
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) at a rate that affects other users.

4. Your content

You retain all rights to any files or text you process with the tools. We never receive, store, or have any rights over your content — it stays in your browser's memory and is discarded when you close the tab.

5. Aadhaar / sensitive document tools

Our Aadhaar PDF Unlocker and similar tools are intended for use with documents you legally own or are authorized to process. Don't use them on documents that aren't yours. We assume no responsibility for misuse.

6. No warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.

We don't guarantee that any tool will work for every file format, edge case, or browser. We don't guarantee that calculator results meet specific regulatory or legal standards — verify with a qualified professional before relying on a result for tax filing, contract drafting, medical decisions, etc.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, OneClickUse, its operators, and contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenue arising from your use of the Service.

If you lose a file because of a failed conversion, we recommend keeping a backup. We cannot recover data we never had.

8. Third-party libraries and content

The Service uses open-source libraries (pdf-lib, pdf.js, jspdf, jszip, browser-image-compression, qrcode, and others). Those libraries are governed by their own licenses, available in their respective repositories. We don't modify third-party logos or trademarks; categories like "Instagram Post" in the Image Resizer are descriptive references only.

9. Advertising

The Service may display third-party advertising. We don't endorse advertised products. Click-through to advertiser sites is at your own discretion.

10. Intellectual property

The OneClickUse name, logo, and original copy are owned by us. The source code is available under the MIT license — see the GitHub repository.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in the Changelog. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the new Terms.

12. Termination

We may restrict or terminate access for users who violate these Terms or attempt to abuse the Service.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be resolved in courts located there.
