Privacy Policy

1. The short version

• Most files never leave your browser. Compression, conversion, rendering, and many utility workflows happen on your CPU using open-source JavaScript libraries. Backend-powered PDF tools send files only to the configured processing service.
• We don't require accounts. There is nothing to sign up for.
• We collect minimal privacy-preserving analytics (page views, daily visitor hashes, country, and referrer) to understand which tools are useful. Details below.
• We may show ads. Third parties (Google AdSense) may set cookies for ad personalization. You can opt out — see "Advertising" below.

2. What we collect

Analytics

We use first-party Cloudflare/D1 analytics and may also use Google Analytics 4 or Plausible Analytics to understand traffic. The first-party analytics system stores a daily hash, not your raw IP address. The data collected:

• Page URL visited
• Approximate country from Cloudflare request metadata
• Browser and operating system
• Referring website
• Time on page

Our first-party analytics counts a daily visitor using a hash of the date, IP address, browser user-agent, and a private server-side salt. We do not store the raw IP address in the analytics database.

We do not track which local file you processed, what password you typed, or what text you pasted in browser-only tools.

Cookies

First-party cookies: none required. If we use Google Analytics, it sets _ga and _ga_* cookies for session distinction. These do not personally identify you.

Third-party cookies: if ads are shown, Google AdSense and its partners may set cookies for ad measurement and personalization. Manage preferences at Google Ads Settings.

3. What we don't collect

• The contents of files processed by browser-only tools — these stay in your browser's memory.
• Passwords typed into browser-only tools.
• Text you type into the Word Counter, QR Generator, or any tool input.
• Email addresses, phone numbers, or other personal information.
• Behavioral data linked to a personal identifier.

Backend PDF tools

Some PDFs, including Aadhaar and bank statements, may require secure server-side PDF processing. Files and passwords are used only to process the request and return the result.

4. Advertising

We may display ads via Google AdSense to support the site. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on prior visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalized ads at adssettings.google.com.

Ads are visually separated from tool output and never embedded in files you generate or download.

5. Children's privacy

OneClickUse is a general-purpose utility site and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

6. Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Because we don't store personal data linked to identifiers, requests for deletion, rectification, or export typically don't apply — there's nothing on file. If you have a specific question, email us at hello@oneclickuse.com.

California residents may opt out of the "sale" of personal information; we do not sell personal information. EU/UK visitors: by using the site you consent to the anonymous analytics described above; you can block tracking with a browser extension at any time.

7. Third-party services

• Cloudflare Pages — hosting and CDN. Cloudflare may log standard request data (IP, user-agent, timestamp) for security and abuse prevention. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
• Google Analytics / Plausible — see analytics section above.
• Google AdSense — when enabled, see advertising section above.

8. Changes to this policy

If we materially change this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top and announce the change in the Changelog.
