Why only 80 links per scan?

Each link is a separate HTTP probe with timeout. Limiting keeps response time reasonable. For full-site crawls, use a desktop tool like Screaming Frog.

Why does Twitter / Facebook show as broken?

Some sites block HEAD requests or return 403 to scripted user-agents. They work in a browser but the checker correctly flags them as unreachable.

Are 301 / 302 redirects flagged as broken?

No — 3xx is considered working. The 'broken' bucket is for 4xx (404, 410, etc.) and 5xx errors.
